Resonance is a 30-voice ensemble under the direction of Paul Osborne. Resonance is a summer vocal ensemble in San Luis Obispo, California, specializing in the performance of a cappella repertoire, specifically early polyphonic choral music, challenging contemporary compositions, and music of the Midwest Choral tradition, as pioneered by the Christiansen family. Resonance was founded in June of 2012 as the San Luis Obispo High School Alumni Choir, with main membership drawn from SLOHS singers from 2007-2012. With expanding membership in June 2013, the group was renamed to better fit its membership and mission. Influences for Resonance include the Concordia Choir, The St. Olaf Choir, The Tallis Scholars, and Voices of Ascension.
