Founded in 2005 by Shay, the band was initially a trio (Shay, Jean-Sébastien and a drummer that left a few months later). In June 2006, the band reached stability as a quatuor: Shay (lead singer, guitar and keyboards), Jean-Sébastien (bass guitar), Jonathan (guitar, keyboards) and Pierre-Yves (batterie). They would soon be joined by Pablo who took care of the production and became an official member of the band. In April 2013, Smoke Fish disbanded.
