There are two variants of spelling for this track: "Gobbeldigook" and "Gobbledigook".
Jonsi, who wrote all the song titles for the artwork, originally spelt it "Gobbeldigook" instead of "Gobbledigook" (as it should be). It was then Photoshopped to the correct spelling for the US version and the UK/EMI promo.
However, when EMI were doing the artwork for the normal CD, they were given the original version ("Gobbeldigook") and nobody noticed until it was too late. They could have re-printed them, but that's not very eco-friendly and it wasn't a big issue, so it was left. (source)
