March for No Reason is an instrumental bridge section of Epitaph, heard on the original studio recording from about 3:43 to 5:15.

The title is likely a reference to the meaningless nature of war, especially the then-current Vietnam War, which influenced much of the content of King Crimson's 1969 album.
