Swingsation: Ella Fitzgerald With Chick Webb

~ Release by Ella Fitzgerald & Chick Webb (see all versions of this release, 2 available)

Annotation

Notes

This late compilation in the Swingsation collection assembles together early takes from Fitzgerald accompanied by Chick Webb's formations on Decca.
While interesting, it's mostly geared toward casual listeners and newcomers.
Most if not all of it is represented more exhaustively in "The Early Years" boxset, and, obviously, on the original Decca releases.

Issues

There is still a small doubt remaining about which exact version #2 is. If you have a recording date and venue details about it, please share your infos!
