~ Release by Mushroomhead (see all versions of this release, 3 available)

Annotation

"XX" is a compilation of previously released songs from Mushroomhead's first three independent albums, along with a single new and previously unreleased song. This entry is for the original version of this release, put out through Eclipse Records in May of 2001. The band later signed with major record label Universal Records and re-released this same compilation, but with a slightly altered track listing and a different mix. Both the original Eclipse Records version and the Universal Records re-issue were released in a Q-Pack case.

On this Eclipse Records version:
Tracks 11 & 13 - originally released on Mushroomhead (1995).
Tracks 2, 4, 5, 7 & 8 - originally released on Superbuick (1996).
Tracks 1, 3, 6, 9, 10 & 43.b - originally released on M3 (1999).
Track 43.a - originally released on Remix (1996).
Track 12 (Epiphany) is a newly released track and remained exclusive to the Eclipse Records version. It does not appear on the Universal Records re-issue.
Tracks 14-42 are empty tracks all counting at 5.71 seconds except tracks 20, 29 and 37 at 5.70 seconds.
Track 43 is unlisted and contains the extended version of Bwomp (originally released on Remix), followed by silence and a prank call (originally released on M3). The prank call is exclusive to the Eclipse Records version. It does not appear on the Universal Records re-issue.
Tracks 2, 6, 11 & 13 were re-mixed for this release, but the other songs are identical to their original album versions (this is a different mix than appears on the later Universal Records version).

This version of 'XX' was released by Eclipse Records in 2001. The tracklist differs from the Universal Records one.
